This temporary pedestrian bridge without handrail can be used to widen an existing bridge , to replace a damaged base or to use separately on construction sites when upright railings would prove to be cumbersome. They are the ideal solution to easily bridge trenches and ditches.

The temporary pedestrian bridge has an anti-slip profile that reduces the risk of accidents in rain, snow or sleet. For added stability, the bridge can be anchored in the corners with four ground irons if required.

Thanks to the male/female connections, multiple temporary pedestrian bridges can be connected to form a wider passage. Attention: This pedestrian bridge is suitable for light vehicles.However, please ensure that the maximum load capacity (1000 kg) is never exceeded. Also check the temporary pedestrian bridge for damage that could affect the structural rigidity.

For added visibility, the pedestrian bridge is equipped with a red/white markings at either side.

Proper placement is of course important to ensure stability and load bearing capacity. Markings are placed on each footbridge (at the level of the recesses for the optional handrail) indicating the bridgeable distance. In other words: the part of the footbridge before the recess for the handrail must ALWAYS be fully supported on the ground.

Due to its light weight and sturdy handles, the temporary pedestrian bridge can easily be placed by one person. The possibility exists to place detachable hand rails in the openings provided for this purpose. Gray and yellow handrails are available separately from Traffimex.
