The Parking Harrow prevents vehicles to ignore mandatory circulation directions.
When driving over teh harrow in the permitted direction the steel teeth fold away in the mechanism.
When a vehicle tries to run over the harrow in the prohibited direction, the steel teeth will pierce the tires of the vehicle causing serious damage.
This protection device must be used with extreme caution and careful deliberation:
- Provide clear and abundant signs and warnings, preferably at several locations, including at entrances
and passageways
- Provide an evacuation area and means to remove a stranded vehicle safely and quickly
We recommend that you only use the parking scissors when ignoring the mandatory direction of circulation poses a real risk of serious accidents.
The parking scissors should only be used at your own risk on private property.
Although the parking scissors requires no special maintenance, it is advisable to check the correct functioning at regular intervals
