A wheel chock is often a useful tool to prevent your car, caravan, camper or trailer from moving unintentionally.

On steep slopes, it provides additional security in the event of the brakes being overloaded.

When loading or unloading a trailer, an unexpected movement can lead to damage or even physical injury.

Also on campsites or in the great outdoors, one (or more wheel chocks) offers peace of mind that the contents of your camping vehicle will not be damaged by a sudden, unexpected movement.

Although wheel chocks for light vehicles are nowhere required in national road regulations, their use at a local level is often strongly recommended, if only to prevent avoidable accidents or annoying liability questions.
