Traffic cones are used to create a visible demarcation at road works, but also at construction, maintenance or repair works. They draw attention to danger zones and can be used to restrict access to such zones.

They are also used for completely different purposes. Just think of football training, camp games or gymnastics lessons.

There are many different types: made of one piece or composed of a cone body and a separate base; made of PVC or PU. There are also big differences in the material used for the white bands. These can be separate sleeves that are glued on, but usually a reflective foil is used, such as on traffic beacons. Sometimes only the white accent bands are reflective, but there are also cones whose entire body (red-white) is reflective.

This small PVC cone is handy and also has a homologated class 2 reflective film that guarantees good visibility. This makes it extremely suitable for use on, for example, tail lifts, removal vans and at broken down vehicle recoveries. It can also be useful for minor maintenance work in factories and warehouses. However, when there is motorised traffic in the vicinity of your work zone, we still recommend using 50 or 75 cm high versions. They naturally attract more attention.

Also when they have to be used for a longer period, eg with a defective device that will be out of use for a few days, it is more prudent to use a larger cone.
